ZAP products added to our shop

We have added ZAP products to our small but fine range of accessories.
ZAP CA glues from Pacer Technologies have a hard earned reputation to be the best glues on the market.
Originiating from medical use, they are not cheap, but worth every penny.
I personally use ZAP for more than 20 years. First I had to privately import it from the USA and GB, than it come into some german shops, and now it finally arrived at our own shelves. :-)
Beside the standard glues we have added special nozzels and thin tubing, as well as a debonder and 5- and 30 minute Epoxy.
Accellerators where critical to get in the last months at least in Germany, since many of them where highly toxic (especially considering that they are sprayed), and where no longer allowed in europe to be sold to end customers.
We can now offer you a now Accellerator form SIG, that is no longer toxic and works just as good.
To make your entry into the world of ZAP glues a little easier and cheaper, we have put together two sets which offer a discount of about 20%, which you find in our shop.
New sanding blocks and files

Its sometimes the small inexpensive tools that you feel you can´t live without, once you tried them.
This is how we felt about this set of files and sanding blocks, when we got a very first pre production sample.
They come in just the right size for most sanding tasks on models.
And most convenient: the sandpaper is applied with velcro tape, which makes changin worn out grid a snap.
While the tools come with preassembled sandpaper, an extra sheet is provided as spare. Commercial sanding disks with velcor may be cut to size as well.

Der Lear Jet von Kyosho ist schon lange nicht mehr im Herstellerprogramm und der Baukasten lag bei mir so lange im Keller, bis es ein effizenten E-Antrieb für das Modell verfügbar war. Ursprünglich waren NiCa-Zellen und Bürstenmotoren vorgesehen und das Modell war eher sehr lahm unterwegs. Mit LiPo-Akkus und Bürstenlosen-Motoren fliegt das Modell nun originalgetreu Jet-like und ein Rasenstart ist ohne Probleme möglich.
Das Fahrwerk ist fest eingebaut und leider ein Schwachpunkt in der Konstruktion, da nicht robust genug für das Gewicht. Überhaupt ist die Konstruktion ursprünglich nicht sehr stabil. Im Flügel ist daher ein GFK-Holm eingearbeitet und die Flächen sind zusätzlich mit Folie bezogen. In den Tip-Tanks sind schaltbare Landescheinwerfer (weisse LEDs mit Reflektor) eingebaut. Da es bei den ersten Flügen mit der im Rumpf verlegten Antenne störungen gab, wurde noch eine 50 cm Stabantenne auf den Rumpf installiert.
Die original Impeller wurden aus den Gondeln komplett entfernt und es wurden WeMoTec-Impeller verwendet. Dies machte es nötig, eine Luftführung in den Triebswerksgondeln mit Balsaholz auszukleiden, um auf den entsprechenden Durchmesser der Impeller zu kommen.
Als Design wurden nicht die Kyosho Decals verwendet sondern es wurde ein USAF Design gewählt und zwar die Maschine mit der Kennung 40063 nach einem Ravell-Baukasten als Vorlage.
