The De Havilland D.H. 100 "Vampire" was developed in WW II and had its?s maiden flight in 1943.
This fighter with the characteristic twin booms generated quite some interest amongst military experts.
The Swiss Airforce for example ordered 175 Vampires and put them in service in 1949 and later.
As a jet from the early days of the jet aera, it is an excellent choice for an EDF model. The wings are enlarged in area to keep down the wing load. This model is manufactured by Aeronaut.
The model is launched with a bungee. For this model we recommend our Midi Fan and an HP 290-20-7 on 14 cells RC 2400, or a similar brushless setup. The kit includes a white gel coated fuselage with the tail booms, ready sanded foam balsa wings, all the small components and an excellent decal sheet with both British and Swiss markings.
