When Rob Bulk designed the B&V P 212, he came across another design during his research that he instantly fell in love with - the Horten 13b.
He decided to build one, and surprise surprise, it flew smoothly and it flew well, from the very first launch.
So he immediately decided to kit this design, and it was one of his quickest rerleases ever.
This "secret project" was not even built as a prototype during WW II. It features a classic delta shaped wing, with a big fin that also accomodates the pilot.

If you are looking for the fan unit (a Mini Fan pro), you will find this beneath the wing in its own compartment.
The Horten 13b needs to be bungee launched, it has no known bad flying habits. You just have to familiarize yourself with the uncommon silhouette.
Delta like, it should be flown in big circles and it can be landed slowly at high angles of attack.
Depending on the motor power, the model can be flown quite fast.
But don?t be fooled by its simple shape. The Horten 13b is a complex design which takes time to finish.
It can be powered by a wide variety of brushless setups starting at about 200 W. LiPo cells are an option, but not necessary.
GP 2200 or other batteries of similar size fit quite well and should deliver plenty of energy.
The kit contains all wood parts CNC cut from selected material, vac formed parts, a detailed plan, small components and decals as shown.
