The Aeronaut "Rafale" is available from stock as a completely moulded model.
The parts are of excellent quality, although the fuselage is a bit solid. Wing and main fuselage are glued together, while the aft fuselage (which contains the fans) is detachable.
The model is intended for two 90 mm fan units. Midi Fans fit without modification.
Up to 28 cells fit into the fuselage and can be accessed through the canopy.
The special recomendation of our fan designer:
2 x HP 220/30A5S P4 on 24 RC 3000 H (pushed) delivers 28.4 N of thrust at 3.00 mins full throttle.
Originally it was intended to leave the canard surfaces fixed.
If the total weight exceeds 4.000 g it is highly recommended to control the canards too.
